Captain James Callahan is the heart and soul behind A Latte Fun Fishing, bringing a deep passion for the sport and years of experience navigating the waters around Pensacola, Florida. His love for fishing began as a kid in the Midwest, where weekend fishing trips with his father sparked a lifelong connection to the outdoors. Originally from the St. Louis area, James was drawn to the rich biodiversity and year-round angling opportunities on Florida’s Gulf Coast. In 2018, he made Pensacola his permanent home and launched his own charter business to share that same joy with others.

With every trip, Captain James brings a thoughtful, hands-on approach that makes guests feel at ease, whether it's their first time holding a rod or their hundredth time chasing Red Snapper, Cobia, or Grouper. He’s well-versed in a range of techniques, including bottom fishing, trolling, jigging, and light or heavy tackle setups—tailoring each charter to the skill level and goals of the group. Beyond just fishing, James is known for his calm demeanor, patience, and ability to turn any outing into a fun and educational experience on the water.

Captain James takes pride in making each charter safe, comfortable, and well-organized. He understands the Gulf’s ever-changing conditions and uses his knowledge of local tides, currents, and seasonal fish patterns to guide you to the best spots. DEPOSIT: A deposit is required for all bookings and will be applied at checkout.

BALANCE: The remaining balance is due on the trip date as either Credit or Cash.

GUEST CANCELLATION: In the event that you must cancel your booking, you must do so 14 days prior to your trip date to receive a refund on your deposit. Rescheduling is encouraged and dependent on guide availability.

GUIDE CANCELLATION: In the rare event that your guide must cancel due to inclement weather, health, or equipment issues, you will have the option to reschedule your charter for a later date or receive a refund on your deposit.

TIPPING: Tips to your guide are greatly appreciated for your quality trip.
